Food Stations

Welcome to some ideas for food selections for the Venetian. Chefs can indulge your fantasies and prepare for dinner a deux, or cocktails for sixty. The Venetian can allow you to indulge in an elaborate and varied meal or restrain itself to a simple barbeque with some light salads. Your needs, your culinary desires are there for us to satisfy.

Dining afloat is more complex than ashore- the food has to be supplied, prepared and offered in a more confined environment- we can help plan your choices for your own cruise.

Carving station

All carvings come with rolls, tomatoes, onions, lettuce and condiments

BBQ menu

Weather permitting decided by Captain

(Select 2 items of fish or meat)
Tuna, Salmon, Chicken, Steak, Lamb chop, Tenderloin and Baby back Ribs

Seafood table

Cold

  • Shrimp with cocktail sauce on crushed ice
  • Mussels in the shell with vinaigrette (cold)
  • Creviche in a Martini glass
  • Avocado filled with crab salad
  • Fresh shucked Oysters
  • Scallops in tomato-basil jus in the shell
  • Fish carpaccio daily catch
  • Chive crepes cornets with smoked trout and vegetable

Hot

  • Seafood with vol au vent (puff pastry)
  • Seafood to choose with pasta
  • Shrimp in a spiced tomato sauce with rice
  • Shrimp skewer

We recommend combining the Seafood table with canapés or a carving station


Side orders:

  • Grilled vegetables (asparagus, peppers, zucchini, mushrooms, eggplant),
  • Baked potatoes with sour cream, butter, bacon, and chive
  • Corn on the cob
  • Salads: mixed green salad, tomato-onion salad


We recommend to combining the BBQ with canapés or some starters.
